Weatherproof: As with all of the Cache accessories, the Basecamp Pad is wrapped in waterproof PVC and coated in PU Nylon. Whatever your truck makes it through – plan on your Basecamp Pad being there too.

Theft Resistant: The Basecamp System is locked to your tailgate via a steel wire beaded cable that’s sandwiched between two industrial-size nylon straps. The strap then attaches to a combo locking carabiner that’s made with cast iron and reinforced with heat-treated steel components.

Multi-Use: The Basecamp pad features an adjustable tie-down strap that turns your tailgate into an anchor point. Tie-down bikes, surfboards, and anything else that sticks out of your tailgate.
